Refurbishment Works

This project involved the removal of floor finishes to the existing building and extensive repair and preparation to the subfloor using a high strength self-levelling screeding compound complete with specialist primer. A cable management access floor system was fully adhered to the prepared base floor. Various floorcovering were then installed over this system. This contract was carried out over a 10 month period to suit the clients programme.

The approximate contract value was £1,000,000.

A summary of the materials used in the project were:

  • 12,000m² of proprietary cable management access system
  • 10,000m² of carpet tiles
  • 500m² of sheet safety vinyl
  • 500m² of rubber tiles
  • 100m² of primary and secondary entrance matting
  • 700m of stair nosings
  • 12,000m² of specialist primer and water based self-levelling compound
